  6. Kumeshan Reddy won KZN SAIEE prize for the Best Final Year Student in Power Systems in Electrical Eng
  7. Jared Sigamoney won the SAIMC prize for the Best Final Year Design Project and the UKZN Centre for Power and Energy Systems prize for the Best Final Year Student in Electrical Eng
