Professor Akshay Kumar Saha


 

Professor Saha is a Professional Engineer with Engineering Council of South Africa with industrial and academic experiences. He is the Academic Leader Research and Higher Degrees, School of Engineering at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. He is a Senior Member of SAIEE, SAIMC and an Individual Member Cigre. He is also acting as an Editorial Board Member for International Journals.

He was awarded the Best Lecturer Electrical Engineering in 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 by School of Engineering, and Research Excellence Award in the years 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018 by University of KwaZulu-Natal.

He has published 20 international journal papers including transactions in IEEE, IET EPSR and over 100 international conference papers in relevant areas.
